Research
The main clinical research concerns neuroendocrinology, specifically, the treatment of pituitary tumors and neuroendocrine tumors. The laboratory focuses on the cellular and molecular mechanisms underlying the effect of somatostatin, dopamine and their analogs in neoplastic cells of neuroendocrine origin.

Future projects
In the clinical field we will investigate the possibility of treating patients affected resistant tumors with new molecules that have different mechanisms of action. In addition, we will investigate the effects of somatostatin and dopamine receptors and their interaction on the therapeutic efficacy of selective compounds that bind to these receptor classes in neuroendocrine tumors.
